At Prospect & Main, we seek out the best grapes California has to offer. Vintage The vines were rejuvenated from winter rains allowing the 2017 growing season to thrive during spring and summer. A severe heat wave prior to harvest reduced the overall crop yield, giving the remaining Cabernet grapes extended hang time to develop deep color, good extraction and full flavor. Winemaking The grapes for our Prospect & Main Cabernet Sauvignon reflect all that defines the diverse and distinct growing regions in California. Blending the finest fruit from warm and cool vineyard sites create a wine embodying the state’s rich terroir of ripe flavors, balanced acidity and fine tannins. Tasting Notes Aromas of blackberry, warm baking spices and dark cacao on the nose. Rich plum and black cherry on the palate partner with the balanced acidity and fine tannins for a complex and delightful wine. Pair with a cheesy meat lasagna or Point Reyes Original Blue cheese.
